The Association of Endoscopic Surgeons of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AESBH) was founded
\nin Tuzla at the Founding Assembly on 21 April 2018. The Statute was also adopted at that
\ntime, and you may download it from this web site.
\nThe abbreviation AESBH will be used (the English title) due to our desire to cooperate
\nclosely with the EAES and associations in the region.
\nAll physical persons who are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, every doctor of medicine,
\nspecialists in the realm of abdominal, thoracic or paediatric surgery, urology, neurosurgery,
\northopaedics, gynaecology, otorhinolaryngology, gastroenterology, and other medical
\nprofessional who work in endoscopic surgery, and who accept the Statute and aims and
\nactivities of the Association, and who confirm this by their signature, may become members
\nof the Association.
\nThe aims and activities of the Association are:
\n\uf0b7 Improving and continuing to develop endoscopic surgery in Bosnia and Herzegovina
\n\uf0b7 The life-long professional and scientific training of health workers involved in
\nendoscopic surgery through educational programmes, professional and scientific
\nmeetings, congresses, seminars, lectures and courses, writing books, handbooks and
\nbrochures, that is, all forms of medical training.
\n\uf0b7 Cooperation with other national, regional and international professional and scientific
\nsocieties dedicated to endoscopic surgery.
\n\uf0b7 Publishing publications in order to carry out the activities of the Association, pursuant
\nto the law.<\/p>\n
Our aim is also to establish links with the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons
\n(EAES), and provide an easier way for young surgeons from Bosnia and Herzegovina to train
\nin European centres. Also, with the assistance of the EAES, workshops will be organized
\nthroughout BH.
\nThe application form may be downloaded from the section on Membership.
\nEveryone, from initial payment of the membership fee, shall become a full member. They
\nshall receive a Certificate of Membership and shall acquire access to the various benefits we
